They allow the entity that sets the cookie (in this case, us) to receive certain information. Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the overall internet experience more user-friendly and efficient.

This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and function of which are explained below:

– Transient cookies (see b)

– Persistent cookies (see c).

Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. This includes session cookies, which store a session ID that allows different requests from your browser to be associated with the same session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.

(3) Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This data transfer is based on Google's EU-US Privacy Shield certification, which can be viewed at the following address: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully utilize all the functions of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics has been extended with the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

The use of Google Analytics is based on our legitimate interest in the needs-based design, statistical evaluation and efficient advertising of our website and the fact that your legitimate interests do not override ours (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

(4) Google AdSense

This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating advertisements from Google Inc. ("Google"). The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google AdSense uses so-called "cookies," text files that are stored on your computer and enable analysis of website usage. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons (invisible graphics). These web beacons allow information such as visitor traffic on these pages to be evaluated.

The information generated by cookies and web beacons about your use of this website (including your IP address) and the delivery of advertising formats is transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. This information may be shared by Google with its partners. However, Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

The storage of AdSense cookies is based on our legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both our website and our advertising, and on the fact that your legitimate interests do not override ours (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully utilize all the functions of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes described above.

Google Tag Manager allows us, as marketers, to manage website tags via a single interface. The Google Tag Manager tool, which implements the tags, is a cookieless domain and does not itself collect any personal data. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags, which may in turn collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been carried out at the domain or cookie level, it will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our website with your user account.
